Magaldrate

Magaldrate (INN) is a widely used antacid drug employed in the treatment of duodenal and gastric ulcers, as well as esophagitis caused by gastroesophageal reflux. Magaldrate has a variable composition corresponding approximately to Al₅Mg₁₀(OH)₃₁(SO₄)₂.xH₂O.

It contains Mg(OH)₂ content between 49.2% and 66.6%, Al(OH)₃ content between 32.1% and 45.9%, SO₄ content between 16.0% and 21.0%, and assay values ranging from 90% to 105% on dried basis.

We specialize in manufacturing high-purity antacid and pharmaceutical raw materials conforming to global pharmacopeia standards including IP, BP and USP.
